My friend goes to an intigrated hearing/deaf school in London.
and basically the hearing students had an issue when it first came into place.
and an old status came floating back onto my newsfeed and this kid genuinely said.
”Tom Pate Yeahs but we all no that you talk shit about us through your fucking hands rather than your mouth like a normal perso”

I can’t even explain how angry/let down I feel.
Why does being hearing label you as “normal”?
whats “normal”?
and as for talking with their mouths, they do but without a voice like us.
because they’re deaf.
I genuinely believe that in these civics/PSHE lessons, we should learn about BSL and disabilities, instead of learning ridiculous rubbish. 
the amount of discrimination I’ve seen/heard over the past few years due to peoples ignorance is outstanding.
